WOOLGOOLGA is set to become a food destination as the latest culinary event, Eat Street, gets plated up.
The first Eat Street will be served up on the weekend after Curryfest.
Curryfest is now a week long event, commencing with the Bollywood movies on Friday 28th of September, Saturday Curryfest on the 29th and finishing with the inaugural Eat Street on the Saturday 30th.
The inaugural Eat Street will follow the Indian theme of Curryfest, plus there will be numerous other food trucks and vendors all serving their delicious foods, whilst lining the street.
Local Market Street restaurants, Rustic Mezedes, Ground Earth, Taemi Sushi and Singhan Da Dhaba will also all be open and out on the street.
In addition to the food offerings, local wineries Two Tail Wines and other craft breweries will be on hand selling beverages.
And make sure you check out the 1950’s Red Chevvy serving sensational mocktails.
It’s celebrating multiculturalism in Woolgoolga.
Carl said Eat St would be licenced and Market St would be closed.
“We have three or four craft beer, cider and wineries suppliers,” he said.
Eat Street will be held on Saturday, September 30 from 5-10pm. Entry is a gold coin donation. (Above is an extract from the Woolgoolger Advertiser 02.06.17)
